The Technical Centre for Plastics and Rubber Processing (CTPC) has been awarded the “Food Use” label, the management of which is delegated by the Moroccan Institute for Standardisation (IMANOR). The distinction applies to plastic packaging and products intended for food contact, for which it attests compliance with safety requirements and full traceability. According to the source, the process took about twelve months and builds on the centre’s earlier recognitions, notably Ministry of Industry approval in 2009, ONSSA authorisation in 2018 and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation. The label is intended to allow manufacturers to stand out and buyers to identify compliant products throughout the supply chain. The source sees it as confirming CTPC’s position as the sector’s national reference.
