The National Federation of Flour Milling hosted a representative of Nisshin Seifun, a Japanese milling group that operates eight mills. The meeting forms part of the federation’s effort to engage with milling sectors abroad. Discussions covered changes in the sector, the development of milling in North Africa, competitiveness, innovation, and prospects for cooperation and know-how transfer. The Japanese group expressed interest in future relations with the African continent and with the Moroccan sector. A visit to a Moroccan mill followed these discussions, according to the federation’s publication of 1 October 2026.
